Michael, Anne and Peter welcome you every Tuesday to our LGBT line dancing social club in Clapham, South London where everyone is welcome
Michael plays our music and helps to lead the dancing
Anne will welcome you to the club and takes your money. Speak to her about membership. Anne also bakes our cakes and biscuits with a different selection each week.
Peter has been teaching line dancing since 1993. He qualified in this style with the UKA and IDTA once line dancing became recognised as a distinct form by these associations.

We teach a variety of line dances both old and new and the occasional couple dance to get Everyone Dancing. The dances we teach will be found is the 100s of clubs across the world - see our links page for suggestions
What's happening over the next few months?
We are not just a place to learn to dance we are a social group too. We have regular parties, often themed, where lessons often match the event. Here are some of our up and coming parties and events in 2025

Tea Dance - Sunday 2nd February 2025
Lines and Bears party will be on 22nd April - this will celebrate 30 years
The Cactus Club birthday party will be on 8th July - we will be 32 years old

Line Dance classes at our regular club night for members
7.00-8.00pm Classes aimed at the beginner - assumed no previous knowledge and no partner required.
8.00-8.30 Dancealong - easy dances to just get up and try - try out those steps
8.30-10.30pm Classes for those dancers with some experience
Borderlines and associated clubs very welcome

The Two Brewers has been a focal point on the gay scene in Clapham, London since the mid 80s. Its back bar provides a good space to dance and socialise.
