DANCE

LONG LIVE LOVE !

DESCRIPTION: 1-WALL LINE DANCE, 32 COUNTS, INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

CHOREOGRAPHER: Bill Bader 604-684-2455 billbader@hotmail.com

MUSIC:"LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE" (103 bpm) by Clay Walker on "Live, Laugh, Love" CD.

Start with the words. There is a perfect place to cut the music at 3:09

before the 4-count phrase break during the 9th wall...or...dance through it with

little problem.

SIDE-ROCK-FORWARD 4 TIMES (There are "L" shapes throughout the dance.)

&1-2 Step R to right side, Rock sideways onto L, Step R forward

&3-4 Step L to left side, Rock sideways onto R, Step L forward

&5-6, &7-8 Repeat &1-2, &3-4

FORWARD, ROCK/TURN, SHUFFLE, TOPS TURN 360o (2 modified Montereys)

9 Step R forward

10 Rock back onto L turning 1/2 right ( 6:00)

11&12 Shuffle forward on R-L-R

13-16 Preliminary notes. A "Tops Turn" is like 2 Half Monterey

Turns, but we add toe sweeps, giving the move a unique effect: visually you

will resemble a spinning top!

Allow the sweeping toe to turn your body. It is important to bend the

supporting leg at counts 13 and 15.

13 Bend R knee and Sweep L toe from left side in a half circle forward and

right turning 1/2 right (12:00)

14 Step L beside R. Straighten the R knee gradually from 13 ("down") to 14

("up").

15 Bend L knee and Sweep R toe from right side in a half circle (from beside

L) out to right side and then back turning 1/2 right. R toe may start this

sweep slightly forward. ( 6:00)

16 Step R beside L. Straighten L knee gradually from 15 ("down") to 16

("up").

CROSS, SIDE, BEHIND, SIDE, CROSS, SIDE, ROCK, STEP, SIDE, ROCK, STEP

17 Cross-Step L over R (toe may sweep to get there)

18 Step R to right side

19&20 Cross-Step L behind R, Step R to right side, Cross-Step L over R

21-22 Step R to right side, Rock sideways onto L

& Step R beside L

23-24 Step L to left side, Rock sideways onto R

& Step L beside R

FORWARD, SIDE, 1/2 TURN, FORWARD, SIDE, 1/2 TURN, FORWARD, 1/2 PIVOT

25 Step R forward

26 Step L to left side (You may start to turn right.)

27 Turning 1/2 right Step R forward toward 12:00

28 Step L forward

29 Step R to right side (You may start to turn left.)

30 Turning 1/2 left Step L forward toward 6:00

31 Step R forward

32 Pivot Turn 1/2 left shifting weight forward onto L (12:00)

End of pattern. Begin again...

In any one-wall dance, the pattern should return us to the same spot at

which we started.

The choreography here has been designed to do that without effort.

Thanks to Fay Son-Hing for the idea for the title of this dance.
