1-3 Step to left on Left foot, Rock back onto Right foot, Rock forward onto Left

4-7 Right to right side with toe pointing 45' to right,Left to left side with toe poiting 45'to left, Right to right side with toe pointing 45' to right,Left to left side with toe poiting 45'to left. (these step use a swivel movement like skater in 'Fever' )

8&9 Right to right side, Left step next to Right(8&), Right step 1/4 turn to right.(On 8& optional full turn Right, Left)

10-11 Left forward, pivot 1/2 turn right with weight to Right

12&13 THREE Cha Chas ) Left forward, Lock Right behind Left, Forward Left

14&15 ) Right forward, Lock Left behind Right, Forward Right

16&17 ) Left forward, Lock Right behind Left, Forward Left

18&19 "Mambo Steps" Right forward, Rock back on Left, Close Right to Left

20&21 Left back, Rock forward on Right,Close Left to Right

22-23 Step forward on Right, pivot 1/2 to Leftwith weight to Left

24&25 Right foot forward, Lock Left behind right, Right foot forward

26-27 Touch Left toe forward, Touch Left toe to the left side

28&29 Cross step Left foot behind Right, Step Right in place, Step Left next to Right

30&31&32 Right forward, Lock Left behind Right, Right Forward,Lock Left behind Right, Right forward

 

The usual footwork of cha cha would be best employed if the correct hip movement is to be achieved. Ball of foot with flex knee to flat foot with straight leg is the usual technique.

When in the above a lock is indicated the middle step of a cha cha is ball(no flat), therefore the final move 30-32 footwork should be b/f, b, b/f,b, b/f

I have no idea if the choreographer would welcome additional flicks in the mambo section 18-21 which would be a more usual practice in this dance
